Fitted wardrobes in London, made to measure
Made-to-measure wardrobes designed around your room and how you use it, with hanging space, shelving, drawers and internal storage planned around what you need.
A fitted wardrobe is designed and made specifically for your room, taking into account the available space, the proportions of the room and what you need to store. The interior is planned around how you use it, from hanging space and shelving to drawers and other storage. You don't need to have everything worked out before getting in touch: understanding what you need and helping develop the right layout is part of the service.
We design and fit wardrobes across London, with much of our work in Hampstead, Belsize Park, Kentish Town, Camden and surrounding areas of north London.
What do fitted wardrobes cost?
The honest answer is a range until the room is measured, and one visit turns it into a firm number.
| Guide price | From £2,300 for a 2-door run up to 1.2m in melamine. Width and finish move it: from £4,000 at 4 doors, and painted, sprayed and oak veneer finishes step up from there. Internal drawers and integrated lighting add to any of them. |
| What's included | Made-to-measure fitted wardrobe with a straightforward internal layout, standard shelving and hanging space, soft-close hinges, delivery and professional installation. |
| What moves it | Drawers, integrated lighting, mirrors, shoe storage, pull-out accessories, specialist hardware, decorative details and more complex designs are priced according to the specification. |
How long does it take?
The lead time runs in weeks, and the fitting itself takes days rather than weeks.
| Booked ahead | Typically 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the project, specification and current schedule. |
| Survey to drawings | After the survey, the quotation and any required drawings are prepared for review. More detailed or complex projects may require additional design time. |
| On site | Typically 2 to 3 days for a straightforward fitted wardrobe. Larger or more complex projects, and wardrobes requiring hand-painting on site, may take longer. |
What is it made from?
Which board suits a wardrobe wall depends on the room, the finish you want and the budget.
Fitted wardrobes are available in painted MR MDF, melamine and decorative boards, or natural wood veneer, with a wide choice of colours and finishes.
How is it fitted?
Ceilings, floors and walls are rarely straight, and a wardrobe wall meets all three at once.
| Scribing | Walls, floors and ceilings are rarely straight, so the furniture is scribed, cut to follow the line of the room, rather than left with gaps. Fitted and finished, it should look like one piece that belongs in the room. |
| Clearing up | Floors and the surrounding area are protected before work starts, and dust extraction runs throughout. The area is tidied at the end of each day, and waste and off-cuts leave with us at the end. |
What happens afterwards?
Fitted furniture can require minor adjustments as it settles into the room. What matters is knowing we'll come back and put it right.
| Guarantee | 2 years on installation and workmanship, and 10 years on the structural integrity of the joinery. Hinges, runners and other hardware are covered by their manufacturer's warranty. |
| Adjustments | If doors, drawers or other moving parts require adjustment during the 2-year aftercare period, we will return and adjust them. |

Asked before enquiring
QuestionsWhere is the furniture made?
Each project is made to the approved drawings and specification. Depending on the design and finish, components may be prepared off-site or made and finished as part of the installation.
What happens if something needs adjusting after installation?
If doors, drawers or other moving parts require adjustment in the 2-year aftercare period, we will come back and put them right.
How do I look after the finish?
Care depends on the material and finish. We provide advice on how to clean and maintain your furniture, including which products to use and what to avoid.
